HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 99-26RESOLUTION NO. 99-26 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT FOUR "REDUCE MOTOR VEHICLE EMISSIONS" (REMOVE) APPLICATIONS FOR ALTERNATIVELY -FUELED VEHICLES (AFV's) TO THE SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY UNIFIED AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lodi City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to submit four (4) "Reduce Motor Vehicle Emissions" (REMOVE) Applications for Alternatively -fueled Vehicles to the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District to assist with the following four projects: VEHICLE PROJECT DESCRIPTION COST REPLACEMENT Purchase six 35 -foot, low -floor CNG buses $1.890.000 Buses 27 and 28 Transportation Development Act (TDA - 98/99 Budget) $ 144,392 Federal Transit Administration (FTA - 98/99 Budget) $ 1,655,608 (Congestion Management and Air Quality [CMAQ] $929,565) (TEA21 [to be secured from Congress] $726,043) Reduce Motor Vehicle Emissions (REMOVE) $ 90,000 Purchase an electric pickup truck $ 30,000 Electric Utility pickup truck Public Benefits Account (98/99 Budget) $ 14,250 Reduce Motor Vehicle Emissions (REMOVE) $ 15,750 Lease four electric vehicles for three years $ 65,376 Finance Meter Reader car, Public Benefits Account (98/99 Budget) $ 20,800 Engineering pool car, LPD Reduce Motor Vehicle Emissions (REMOVE) $ 44,576 Partners car, PW pool car Lease one electric vehicle for three years $ 16,344 PW minivan Reduce Motor Vehicle Emissions (REMOVE) $ 16,344 Dated: February 17, 1999 I hereby certify that Resolution No. 99-26 was passed and adopted by the Lodi City Council in a regular meeting held February 17, 1999 by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS — Hitchcock, Mann, Nakanishi, Pennino and Land (Mayor) NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS — None ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS — None ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS — None ICE M.
