AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance -of Improvements Under Lane Line Painting, Various City Streets, 1996

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under Lane Line Painting,
Various City Streets, 1996 contract, and direct the City Engineer to file a
Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project was awarded to Central Striping Service, of
Rancho Cordova, on October 16, 1996, in the amount of
$20,267.76. The contract has been completed in substantial
conformance with the specifications approved by the City Council.
The contract completion date was November 26, 1996. The final contract price was $20,309.84. The
difference between the contract amount and the final cost is due to a minor increase in additional footage
painted.
FUNDING: As determined at contract award.
