A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL
AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR TOKAY STREET
RECONSTRUCTION, MILLS AVENUE TO
FAIRMONT AVENUE
WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the
order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on May 27,
1998, at 11:00 a.m. for Tokay Street Reconstruction, Mills Avenue to Fairmont Avenue,
described in the specifications, therefore approved by the City Council on January 7,
1998; and
WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report
thereof filed with the City Manager as follows:

Engineer's Estimate $203.223.50
Granite Construction Company Stockton $251,943.00
Teichert Construction Stockton $252,391.00
A.M. Stephens Construction Lodi $316,210.90
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends award of the contract for Tokay Street
Reconstruction, Mills Avenue to Fairmont Avenue to the lowest bidder, Granite
Construction Company of Stockton, CA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lodi City Council that the award of
the contract for Tokay Street Reconstruction, Mills Avenue to Fairmont Avenue, be and
the same is hereby awarded to Granite Construction Company of Stockton, CA, the lowest
bidder, in the amount of $251,943.00; and
follows:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds be appropriated to cover this project as
Gas Tax Fund $ 33,100
Federal Funds (331) $250,000

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 98-111 was passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held July 15, 1998, by the following vote:
