A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL
AWARDING THE BID FOR TWO LIGHT TURF UTILITY VEHICLES
FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, PARKS DIVISION
WHEREAS, in answer to the notice duly published in accordance
with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received
and publicly opened on February 22, 1995 at 11:00 a.m. (on February 1,
1995, the City Council adopted Resolution 95-11, rejecting bids for Two
Light Turf Utility Vehicles, and approved revised specifications and
authorizing the readvertisement for bids) for the bid for the Purchase
of Two Light Turf Utility Vehicles for the Parks and Recreation
Department, Parks Division, described in the specifications therefore
approved by the City Council on February 1, 1995; and
WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and
a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows:

H. V. Carter Company, Sacramento $22,627.50

WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award of the bid for
the Purchase of Two Light Turf Utility Vehicles for the Parks and
Recreation Department, Parks Division, be made to the sole bidder, H.
V. Carter Company, of Sacramento , CA; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lodi City Council that
award of bid for the Purchase of Two Light Turf Utility Vehicles for
the Parks and Recreation Department, Parks Division, be and the same is
hereby awarded to H. V. Carter Company, Sacramento, CA, the sole
bidder, in the amount of $22,627,50.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 95-33 was passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held March
15, 1995, by the following vote:
Ayes: Council Members - Davenport, Pennino, Sieglock,
Warner, Mann (Mayor)
Noes: Council Members - None
Absent: Council Members - None
