HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 96-48RESOLUTION NO. 96-48 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AWARDING THE BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF WOOD UTILITY POLES WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council sealed bids were received and publicly opened on May 1, 1996 at 11:00 a.m. for the purchase of 53 Wood Utility Poles, described in the specifications therefore approved by the City Council on April 17, 1996 and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: Koppers Industries Intraline, Inc. North Pacific Lumber J. H. Baxter & Co. L. D. McFarland Co., Ltd Denver $29,504.11 Burlingame $29,882.98 Portland, Oregon $30,013.76 San Mateo $30,856.37 Tacoma, Washington $33,696.65 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends award of the bid for the purchase of 53 wood utility poles, be made to the low bidder, Koppers Industries of Denver, Colorado; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lodi City Council that the award of the bid for the purchase of 53 wood utility poles, be and the same is hereby awarded to Koppers Industries, of Denver, Colorado, the low bidder, in the amount of $29,504.11. Dated: May 15, 1996 I hereby certify that Resolution No. 96-48 was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held May 15, 1996, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS - Davenport, Mann, Pennino, Sieglock and Warner (Mayor) NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS - None ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS - None ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS - None 96-48
