SUBJECT. SET PUBLIC HEARING FOR TRANSIT NEEDS

RDCOWENDED ACTION: That the City Council set a public hearing to obtain
citizens carments on transit needs. It is
recor:mended the hearing be set for 11:00 a.m.,
December 3, 1986, at Loel Center, 105 South Washington Street, and _continued to
7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
BACKGROUND INFiORMATION: One requirement for obtaining Transit Funds is to
hold a public hearing to obtain citizens comments
relative to the City's transit needs.
In order to make the hearing available to the greatest number of people and to
the handicapped, we have opened the hearing during the day at a convenient
location and then continued it into the regular Council meeting.
For the past few years we have used the facility at Loel Center for this
purpose. They have graciously allowed us to again use their facility.

NOTICE OF PLBLIC HEARING REGARDING
LWET TRANSIT NEEDS WITHIN THE CITY OF LODI
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, December 3, 1986 at
the hour of 11:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be
heard, the Lodi City Council will conduct a public hearing at the
Irel Center, 105 South Washington Street, Lodi, to obtain citizens
oonreants on transit needs within the Cit1 of Lodi.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this Public Hearing will be
continued to the hour of 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the
matter may be heard, at the Regular Council Meeting set for that date
at City Hall Council Chambers, 221 WFs` Pine Street, Lodi.
Information regarding this matter may be obtained in the Office
of the City Clerk. All interested persons are invited to present
their views. Written statements may be filed with the City Clerk at
any time prior to the hearing scheduled herein and oral statements
may be made at said hearing.
If you challenge the subject matter in court you may b,-, limited
to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the Public
Hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence
delivered to the City Clerk at, or prior to, the Public Hearing.
