PUBLIC HEARINGS Notice thereof having been published in accordance with
law and affidavit of publication being on file in the office
of the City Clerk, Mayor Olson called for the Public Hearing
to consider:
a) The proposed uses of Revenue Sharing Funds as they
pertain to the City of Lodi for 1983-84.
City Manager Glaves presented the following proposed Federal
Revenue Sharing Budget for 1983, including his comments
concerning the subject proposed budget:

SHARING BUDGET
1983 Federal Revenue Sharing funds available for budgeting under
the entitlement period ending September 30, 1983 is
$509,378. The extension of the Revenue Sharing, Program
appears favorable, but Congress has yet to take final
action. The 1984 Capital Budget will provide for
expenditures authorized by the new legislation, if and when
It passes.
The following budget recamnendaticn includes equipment'
discussed during Annual. budget preparation, projects alreadyapproved, and some projects which should be undertaken as
early as possible where timing for next spring becomes` en:

Mr. Stan Harkness, 700 Cardinal, Lodi, President of the 50
Plus Club addressed the CDuncil supporting the proposed
budget item for an air conditiong system at hale Park
There were no other persons in the audience wishing to speak
on the matter, and the public portion of the hear!ng was
closed,
CM. ND. 1300 Following discussion, mil Member Pinkerton moved for
INIOCULCED introduction of Ordinance No. 1300 adopting the Federal
Revenue Sharing Budget for 1983 as heretofore set forth.
The motion was seconded by Counci l Mwimr Murphy and carried
by unanimous vote.

Declaration by the Cmm unity Development Director as
adquate environmental documentation for the proposed
rezoning of the parcel at 320 South Hem Leave from R-1,
Single -Family Residential to RCA, Garden Apartment
Residential.
b) the Recommended approval of the request of Dan H. Rake,
on behalf of the Hmmiml American Lutheran Church to
rezone the parcel at 320 South Ham Lane from N-1,
Single -Family Residential to R -CA, Carden Apartment
Residential.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LODI TO CONSIDER PROPOSED USES
OF REVENUE SHARING FUNDS AS THEY PERTAIN TO THE
CITY OF LODI FOR 1983-84
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, October 6,
1983 at the hour of 8:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as
the matter may be heard, the Lodi City Council will
-!onduct a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers, City
Hall, 221 West Pine Street, Lodi, California to consider
proposed uses of Revenue Sharing Funds as they pertain to
the City of Lodi for 1983-84.
A copy of the proposed uses of the General Revenue
Sharing Funds including the adopted 1983-84 operating
budget for the City of Lodi is on file in the office of
the City Clerk and can be examined during regular business
hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
All citizens of the recipient government (the City
of Lodi) shall have the right to make written and oral
comments and to ask questions concerning the entire budget
at the hearing relative to the use of General Revenue
Sharing Funds to be used in Fiscal Year 1983-84.

THE CERTIFICATION OF THE FILING
OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, October 6, 1983 at
the hour of 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the :natter may be
heard, the Lodi City Council will conduct a public hearing
regarding the Lodi Planning Commission's recommendation that the
Lodi City Council certify the filing of a Negative Declaration by
the Community Development Director as adequate environmental
documentation for the proposed rezoning of the parcel at 320
South Ham Lane from R-1, Single -Family Residential to R -GA,
Garden Apartment Residential.
Information regarding this item may be obtained in the
office of the Community Development Director at 221 West Pine
Street, Lodi, California. All interested persons are invited to
present their views and comments on the Negative Declaration.
Written statements may be filed with the City Clerk at any time
prior to October 6, 1983.
