REQUEST TO
AMEND HOWARD
STREET
SPECIFIC PLAN
SET FOR
PUBLIC HEARING Council received a request of Joanne Shuter for relief from
the responsibility of dr.dicatinq Howard Street fir the completion
of a cul-de-sac according to Ordinance recorded in June 1971.
Following discussion with queztions being directed to Staff,
Council on motion of Mayor Reid., Murphy second, set for Public
Hearing on October 6, 1982 at 8:00 p.m-, the request to
amend the Howard Street Specific Flan.

To the members of the City Council,
I wish to appear before you in regards to a piece
of property I wish to purchase which is located at
360 X. Loma in the city of Lodi.
The reason I wish to appear is that I wish to be
released from the responsibility of dedicating
Howard Street for the completion of a cul-de-sac
according to an ordinance which was recorded in
June of 1971, 11 years ago. Also, I would like
to install or erect a nodular (manufactured) home
on this lot. I have been informed that I must
have a lot split in order to do so and that only
the City Council can excuse be from completing
Howard Street.
Please notify me as to the date and time of my
appearance at 334-3825 SUS. or 368-5626 RES.,
or notify my agent in this matter, Elaina R. Kepler.
Her business card is attached.
At the time of the hearing, I will submit to you
copies of the ordinance and the planned lot split.

OF THE CITY OF LODI TO CONSIDER THE REQUEST OF
JOANNE SHUTER, C/O DIAL REALTY, 529 WEST LODI
AVENUE, LODI, TO AMEND THE SPECIFIC PLAN FOR
HOWARD STREET BETWEEN LOCKEFORD STREET AND
LAKE STREET, LODI, AS ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE
NO. 917, DECEMBER 3, 1982.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, October 6, 1982 at the
hours of 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Lodi
City Council will conduct a public hearing in the Council Chambers, City Hall,
221 Hest Pine Street, Lodi, California, to consider the request of
Joanne Shuter, c/o Dial Realty, 229 Hest Lodi Avenue, Lodi, to amend the
Specific Plan for Howard Street between tockeford Street and Lake Street,
Lodi, as adopted by Ordinance No. 917, December 3, 1969.
Information regarding this item may be obtained in the office of
the Community Development Director at 221 West Pine Street, Lodi, California.
All interested p-irsons are invited to present their views either for or
against the above proposal. Written statements may be filed with the City
Clerk at any time prior to the hearing scheduled herein and oral statements
may be made at said hearing.
