Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1262 provides that "the City Council, by Resolution, shall designate standing or parking restrictions within the City of Lodi, and the City Engineer shall be authorized to erect signs, or curb markings in areas so designated by Resolution of the City Council of the City of Lodi." NOW :HEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, July 21, 1982, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Lodi City Council will conduct a public hearing in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 221 West Fine Street, Lodi, to consider the adoption of a resolution, as provided in Ordinance No. 1262, designating standing or parking restrictiorts within the City of Lodi as it pertains to Lodi Avenue from.Ham Lane to Central Avenue. All interested persons are invited to present their views on this matter. Written statements may be filed with the City Clerk at any time prior to the hearing scheduled herein and oral statements may be made at said hearing. RElhiCHE City Clerk RONALD Not, STEIN City Attorney As directed by the City Council at its regular meeting of August 4, I have been in contact with Lillian Conley owner of the Alete Beauty Shop apprising her that we had received a copy of a letter from Fess A. Tipton, D.C. offering the use of his parking lot to the Alete after 6:00 p.m. seven days a week, 12 months a year. Mrs. Conley agreed that she and her patrons would give this a try and would stay in touch as to whether or not it is working. Mrs. Conley indicated her desire to work with the City in every way possible and promised to stay in touch ktu Alice M.
