accordance with law and affidavit of publication
being on file ?.n the office of the City Clerk,
Mayor Hinc}uran called for the Public Hearing to
consider the proposed appropriations of the
Federal Revenue Sharing Funds - 1985-86 Budget.
Council was apprised that the proposed
appropriations of General Revenue Sharing Funds
to be used in Fiscal Year 1985-86 are as follows:
Capital Projects -
City Hall Expansion - $840,640
TOTAL - $840,640

The matter was introduced by City Manager
Peterson. Assistant City Manager Glenn then gave
the staff report concerning the matter and
responded to questions as were posed kry the
council.
There being no persons in the audience wishing to
speak on the matter Mayor Hinchman closed the
Public Hearing.
On motion of Mayor Pro Tempore Reid, Olson
second, Council approved the proposed
appropriations of the Federal Revenue Sharing
Funds - 1985-86 Budget as follows:
Capital Projects - City ball Expansion - $840,640

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Federal Revenue Sharing; regulations provide
!'E- T—TuTrllc agencies hold a public heariw'pr ioi• to the allocation
of annual Federal Revenue Sharing monies. The 1985-86 budget
document presents the recorslmended allocation for the coming fiscal
year on page 62. The purpose of:his hearing is to provide the
opportunity for public input regarding the ultimate disIposition of
these funds.
Attached (Exhibit "A") is a copy of the official notice.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, June 19, 1985 at the
hour of 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard,
the Lodi City Council will conduct a public hearing in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, 221 West Pine Street, Lodi, California, to
consider the proposed appropriations of Federal Reve.-iue Sharing Funds
contained in the 1985-86 Budget.
A copy of the proposed appropriations of the General Revenue
Sharing Funds is on file in the office �)f the City Clerk and can be
examined during regular business hours (Monday through Friday,
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) and a sumrary s hereinafter set forth:
The public has the right to make written and oral comments at
the hearing relative to the appropriation of General Revenue Sharing
Funds to be used in Fiscal Year 1985-86.
