1. mended approval of General Plan Land Use Element No.
HEARING
GPA -LU -83-1 amendment which consists of the request of Gene G.
Walton, Attorney at Law, on behalf of Leon A. and Georgia I
Perlegos (c/o Save Mart Foods) to redeTi.gnate the parcel at
1332 South Hutchins Street from Medium density residential to +
general ocamercial.
2. Reccmme ded approval of the request of Gene G. Walton,
Attorney at Law, on behalf of Leon A. and Georgia Perleggos
(c/o Save Mart Foods) to rezone property located at 1332 South
Hutchins Street frau R -MD, Medium Densit,.Multiple Family
Residential to C-2, General Oomtnercial.
3. Recommended that the f ling o: a Negative Declaration by
the Cam mity Development Director was adequate environ nental
documentation on the above project.
On motion of Mayor Pro ZvvWre Murphy, Pinkerton second, the
heretofore listed items were set for Public Hearing on
Wednesday, February lb, 1983.

The Planning Commission also -
1. Conditionally approved the request of Rev. Glenda F.
Kerimde on behalf of New Life Center for a Use Permit to
locate a temporary mobilehome for a caretaker at 510 Rirlby
Avenue in an area zoned R-2, Single -Family residential.
2, attended, for one year, the request of Holz Rubber Ccupany
for a Use Permit for a teiporary trailer for offioe purposes
at 1129 South Sacramento Street in an area zoned M-2, Heavy
Industrial.
3. nctended until May 31, 1983, the terporary Use Permit of
Leslie Wurzburger to operate a flea market at 102, 112, and
122 Hansen Drive (i.e. Lots 4, S and 6 Hansen Industrial Park)
in an area zoned M-1, Light Industrial.
4. Reaffirmed its action of November 22, 1983 and reoomnended
that San Joaquin County deny the request of Frank IAuochesi on
behalf of Gorman Dal, for a Use Permit for an agriculturally
related trucking operation at 185 6 North State route 99 (i.e.
on the east side of State Route 99, Frontage Road,
apprmdmately 200 feet south of Clarksdale Road) in an area
zoned GA -40, General Agricultural.

FOR ACTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
1. Recommended approval of General Plan Land Use Element No. GPA -LU -83-1
which consists of the ; t of Gene G. Walton, Attorney at Law,
on behalf of Leon A. an •rgia Perlego- (c/o Save Mart Foods) to
redesignate the parcel at 1532 South Hutchins Street from medium
density residential to general commercial.
2. Recommended approval of the request of Gene G. Walton, Attorney at
Law, on behalf of Leon A. and Georgia Perlegos (c/o Save Mart Foods)
to rezone property located at 1332 South Hutchins Street from
R -MD, Medium Density Multiple Family Residential to C-2, General
Commercial.
3. Recommended that the filing of a Negative Declaration by the
Community Development Director was adequate environmental documenta-
tion on the above project.
OF INTEREST TO THE CITY COUNCIL
1. Conditionally approved the request of Rev. Glenda F. Kermode on
behalf of New Life Center for a Use Permit to locate a temporary
mobilehome for a caretaker at 510 Rimby Avenue in an area zoned
R-2, Single -Family Residential.
2. Extended, for one year, the request of Holz Rubber Company for a
Use Permit for a temporary trailer for office purposes at 1129 South
Sacramento Street in an area zoned M-2, Heavy Industrial.
3. Extended until May 31, 1983, the temporary Use Permit of Leslie
Wurzburger to operate a flea market at 102, 112 and 122 Hansen
Drive (i.e. Lots 4, 5 avd 6 Hansen Industrial Park) in an area
zonee M-1; Light Industrial.
4. Reaffirmed its action of November 22, 1983 and recommended that
San Joaquin County deny the request of Frank Lucchesi on behalf
of Gorman Day for a Use Permit for an agriculturally -related
trucking operation at 18566 North State Route 99 (i.e. on the
east side of State Route 99, Frontage Road, approximately 200
feet south of Clarksdale Road) in an area zoned GA -40, General
Agricultural.
