AGENDA TITLE: Public Hearing Set by City Clerk for December 16, 1992 to
Consider Request of Super Cab, P.O. Eox 45, Rio Vista, Ca to
Operate a Taxi Service Within the City of Lodi
MEETING DATE: November 18, 1992

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Thnt the City Council direct the City Clerk to
publish a legal advertisement advising of a public
hearing that has been set by the City Clerk for
December 16, 1992 to consider the application of
Super Cab to operate a taxicab service within the
City of Lodi.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City of Lodi is in receipt of an application to
operate a taxicab service in the City of Lodi which
has been received from Super Cab, P.O. Box 45, Rio
Vista, Ca,
Section 5.24,220 of the Lodi Municipal Code sets forth that:
"...upon the receipt of an application referred to in Section 5.24.210,
the city clerk shall set a time, not less than ten nor more than thirty
days thereafter, for the hearing of the application before the City
Council, and shall give notice of the time so set, at least five days
before the date of the hearing, to the applicant and to any other permit
holder under this chapter at the address set out in such application and
by publication, if directed, by the council."
Bursuant to this Section of the Lodi Municipal Code, I am setting this public
hearing for December 16, 1992.

December 16, 1992
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, at the hour cf 7:30 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. the City Council will conduct a
public hearing to consider the following matter:
a) the application of Super Cab, P.O. Box 45, Rio Vista, California
to operate a taxi service within the City of Lodi.
All interested persons are invited.to present their views and comments on this
matter. Written statements may be filed with the City Clerk at any time prior
to the hearing scheduled herein, and oral statements may be made at said
hearing.
Ifyou challenge the subject matter in court, you may be limited to raising only
those issues you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in
this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City Clerk, 221 West
Pine Street, at or pno6 to the Public Hearing.
