HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - October 17, 1990 PHCOUNCIL I TO: THE CITV ODUNCC FROM: TIIE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE C 0 M M U N I C A I "t`0N COUNCIL MEETING DATE: October 17, 1990 SUBJECT: PREZONING INDUSTRIAL SUBSTATION SITE AND REMAINING DIEKMAN PARCEL INDICATED ACTION: that the City Council consider prezoning the 8.1 acre Industrial u station site and the 7.1 remaining Diekman Parcel both located at 5200 East Sargent Road (APN 049-070-02) to M-2, Heavy Industrial. BACKGROUND WRMAIION As part of the City's settlement with the Diekman heirs, it agreed to prezone and annex the remainder parcel at the same time the substation site was prezoned and annexed. The M-2 zoning is in conformity with the General Plan. Although City owned property is not normally shown in a specific zoning classification, San Joaquin LAFCO requires that pretoning occur before an annexation can proceed. r16 R evelopment Director CC9022/TXTD.01C September 7, 1990
