Cottrell, Attorney at Law, on behalf of Maurice 0. Ray, regarding Notice of Public Nuisance and Order to Abate issued by the Chief Building Inspector regarding property located at 1201 Edgewood Drive, Lodi. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: On October 8, 1993, the City Clerk received a letter from Steven J. Cottrell, Attorney at Law, asking that the hearing be continued until the City Council meeting of December 15, 1993. The Community Development and Public Works staff members working with Mr. Ray to solve the various problems agree with the request to continue the hearing. FUNDING: None reguired. Ray, Jr. Dear Ms. Parrin: This letter is to advise you that Mr. Ray has been cooperating with various city agencies, in an effort to resolve this matter in an informal basis. Based upon that fact, Mr. Ray would request that his hearing before the City Council be continued for a period of sixty (60) days. It would therefore be appreciated if you would continue this matter at the council meeting and schedule the same for further presentation at the regular City Council meeting scheduled for December 15, 1993 at 7:00 p.m.. I have spoken with the City Attorney and the Community Development Director regarding continuing this matter. It is my understanding that they have no objections to the matter being continued so that it may be worked out on an informal basis. Thank you for your cooperation and consideration in this matter.
