RESOLUTION NO. 2002-99
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI
CONSENTING TO AND CALLING A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON
THE PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE LODI
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 1
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Lodi (the "Agency"), by Resolution No.
RDA2002-03 on May 15, 2002, submitted to the City Council of the City of Lodi (the "City Council") a
proposed Redevelopment Plan (the 'Redevelopment Plan") for the Lodi Redevelopment Project No.
1 (the "Project") and consented to and requested that the City Council call a joint public Bearing of
the Agency and the City Council to consider and act upon the proposed Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges receipt of the proposed Redevelopment Plan,
along with the Report to the City Council on the proposed Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, Section 33355 of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and
Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) authorizes a joint public hearing on the proposed
Redevelopment Plan with the consent of the Agency and the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby consents to and, at the request of the Agency, calls
a joint public hearing of the Agency and the City Council on June 19, 2002, at 7:00 p.m. in the City
Council Chambers, 221 West Pine Street, Lodi, California, to consider and act upon the proposed
Redevelopment Plan and all documents and evidence pertaining thereto.
Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Lodi shall, in cooperation with the Secretary of
the Agency, prepare, publish, and mail such notices and documents and do all other acts as may be
necessary to carry out the purposes of this resolution.
