MEETING DATE: June 6, 2001 PREPARED BY: Community Development Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council continue the Public Hearing to August 15, 2001, to consider an appeal from Wayne Ogren regarding Notice and Order to Repair and Notice and Order to Vacate issued for his property at 225 N. Rush Street, Lodi, California. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Mr. Ogren, the owner of record for the property located at 225 N. Rush Street, has requested through his attorney that we continue the Public Hearing until a later date to allow him to obtain a variance from the Planning Commission. That variance will allow Mr. Ogren to do the necessary rehabilitation to two of the dwelling units on this property, thereby bringing him into compliance with the requirements of the Community Improvement Division's Notice and Orders that he was seeking relief from. Providing that Mr. Ogren files his request for a variance in a timely manner, Community Development Department Staff feel that the variance, which they will recommend approval of, will be obtained by the second City Council meeting in August. Therefore, it is requested that this Public Hearing be continued to August 15, 2001. FUNDING: No funding required. I!
