No action is necessary. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: A prior public hearing was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 1999, at the Hutchins Street Square Senior Center with no unmet transit needs for the City of Lodi identified. These public hearings are an annual requirement of the Transportation Development Act regulations. The regulations require the San Joaquin County Council of Governments to determine if there are any unmet transit needs that are reasonable to meet. Because of the recent transit service improvements, we don't expect the San Joaquin County Council of Governments to find any unmet transit needs in Lodi. FUNDING: Not applicable.
