HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - August 20, 1997 (86)a. a CITY OF LODI COUNCIL COMMUNICATION AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Type II Slurry Seal, Various City Streets, 1997 Contract - MEETING DATE: August 20, 1997 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under Type II Slurry Seal, Various City Streets, 1997 contract, and direct the City Engineer to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project was awarded to Graham Contractors, Inc. of Sacramento on July 2, 1997, in the amount of $40,942.88 for 952,160 square feet of application. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was July 26, 1997. The final contract price was $43,745.41. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price was due to the addition of a slurry seal application to the 65,175 -square -foot parking lot at Salas Park. The slurry seal project covered a total of 1,017,355 square feet. FUNDING: As determined at contract award.
