BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City Council, at previous meetings, directed the City Clerk to post for vacancies and expired terms on various Boards and Commissions. Attached please find a letter from the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission requesting the Council appointment to that Commission. I would ask that the City Council's concurrence with my appointment to the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission. It is recommended that the City Council concur with the following appointments: Eastside lmnrovement Committee Virginia Snyder Term to expire: March 1, 2000 Colleen Dixon Term to expire: March 1, 2000 Harry Marzolf Term to expire: March 1, 2000 San Joaquin County Council of Govemments Richard Blackston Term to expire: June 30, 1999 San Joaquin County Regional Rail Commission Phillip Pennino FUNDING: None required. The current term has expired and either yourself or another councilmember will need to be appointed to fill this position on the Co mission.
