AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "BORON ADDITION, I'
TO THE CITY OF LODI
The Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows:
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of June, 1967, the Council of the City of
Lodi did pass and adopt Resolution No. 3051 giving notice of the proposal to
annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of Lodi, said territory being
therein designated as "Boron Addition, " said Resolution describing the boundaries
of the territory proposed to be.annexed; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 3051 did contain a notice of the day,
hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests
made by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be
annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than forty nor more than sixty
days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution was duly published in accordance with
law; and
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of July, 1967, at the hour of 8:OO p-rn.,
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Lodi, County of San
Joaquin, State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place
fixed in said Resolution No. 3051 for hearing protests to the said annexation, $5
the said City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed
annexation and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners
of one-half of the value of the privately owned territory proposed to be annexed
as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-
half of the value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as
determined by said legislative body; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Lodi, and is
uninhabited territory in the County of San Joaquin;

NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of Lodi does hereby
approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of
Lodi, and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby
annexed to the City of Lodi.
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of Lodi is
herein approved, is all that territory situate in the County of San Joaquin,
State of California, more particularly described as follows:
A portion of the Northwest One-Quarter(NW 1/4) of Section
Eighteen (18), Township Three (3) North, Range Seven (7) East,
Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said Section 18,
in the intersection of
formerly U. S. Highway No. 99; thence easterly along the north
Kettleman Lane with Cherokee Lane,
line of said Section 18, a distance of 113. 2 feet, more or less, to
the northeast corner of the tract of land annexed to the City of Lodi
as the "Kundert Addition, described in City of Lodi Resolution
No. 2874, and the true point of beginning; thence southerly along
the east line of said "Kundert Addition'' 259 feet, more or less,
to the southwest corner of the parcel of land described as Parcel
III of deed to Theobold Korst, Sr., recorded February 1, 1946
in Volume 951, page 337, Book of Official Records of San Joaquin
County; thence leaving said east line of "Kundert Addition,
easterly along the south line of said Horst lands234. 73 feet to
the southeast corner thereof; thence northerly along the east
line of said Horst lands, 55 feet to a point on the south line of
the tract of land described in deed to the Atlantic Refining Company
recorded February 17, 1.966 in Volume 3026, page 115, Book of

Official Records of San Joaquin County; thence easterly along the
south line of said Atlantic Refining Company lands 188.25 feet,
more or less, to the southeast corner of the land described as
Parcel 11 of deed to the State of California recorded May 27, 1963
in Volume 2694, page 366, Book of Official Records of San Joaquin
County, being a point in the westerly right of way line of U. S.
Highway No. 99; thence North 3' 31' East along said westerly
right of way line and said line produced northerly, 204.2 feet
to a point on the north line of said Section 18 also being a point
on the existing City Limits line; thence North 87' 39' 51" West
along said north line of Section 18, being on said City Limits line,
439.40 feet, more or less, to the true point of beginning; the area
thus described containing 2. 32 acres, more or less.

that Ordinance No, 845 was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Lodi held July 19, 1967; and was thereafter passed, adopted
and ordered to print at a regular meeting of said Council held August 2,1967,
by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen - Brown, Culbertson, Walton and Hunnell
Noes: Councilmen - None Absent: Councilmen - Kirsten

by the Mayor Pro Tempore on the date of its passage and the same has
been published pursuant to law.
