HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 62dINANCE N0.62. An Ordinance Levying Taxes in the Year 1912 in Provision of Revenue for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1,1913. The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi do ordain as follows: Sec.l.- In the year,1912,and in provision of revenue for said City for the fiscal year beginning July 1,1913,upon all the real and personal property within the City of Lodi,taxable for municipal purposes,there is hereby levied taxes as follows,to-wit: For the general purposes of said City,at the rate of sixty-two and one half cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed value of said taxable property; for the public library purposes of said City, at the rate. of twelve and one half cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed value of said taxable property; and for bond redemption and interest purposes of said City,at the rate of fifty cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed value of said taxable property. The aforesaid tax rate of fifty cents on each one hundred dollars is the rate for bond redemption and interest on bonds of said City issued and outstanding on the 8th.day of November,1910, having been issued in the year 1908,and is apportioned as follows: For redemption and interest on Sewer Bonds, $.20 on each one hundred dollars of assessed value of taxable property; For redemption and interest on Water and sight Bonds, $.30 on each one hundred dollars of assessed value of taxable property. Sec.2.- This ordinance shall be published once in The Lodi Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi,and shall take effect thirty days after its passage, approval and publication.
