AIGNDING THE OFFICIAL DISTRICT MAP OF THE
CITY OF LODI AND THEREBY REZONING PROPERTY
ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SCHOOL AND
LOCKEFORD STREETS TO BE IN THE C-2 DISTRICT.
The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as
follows :
Section 1. The Official District Map of the City of
Lodi adopted by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 469 (Zoning Ordinance)
is hereby amended and the property hereinafter described re-
classified and rezoned from its present classification as being
in the R-4 Residential District to be in the C-2 Commercial
District, viz:
PARCEL ONE:
Section one (1) Township three (3) North, Range six (6) East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, described as follows:
Corrmencing at a point on the North line of Lockeford
Street in the City of Lodi, where the same would be
irqtersec.bgd by ,the continuation Northerly of the line
dividing Lots'two (2) and three (3) in Block thirteen (13) in the said City of Lodi, and running thence Northerly along the continuation of said line divid-
ing said lots 2 and 3,) 135 feet; thence Westerly parallel
with the North line of said Lockeford Street, 50 feet
to the Southeast corner of the land described in the
Deed to Edith Michels, dated December 12, 1933, recorded December 15, 1933, in Vol. 394 of Official Records,
page 291, San Joaquin County Records; said point being
the true point of beginning of the within described
tract of land; thence Northerly along the East line
of said Michels land, 35 feet; thence Westerly parallel
to the South line of said Michels land, 50 feet to the
West line thereof; thence Southerly along said West line, 35 feet to the Southwest corner of said Nichels land;
thence Easterly don said South line 50 feet to the
point of beginning, ?known as the South 35 feet of lot
2, in Block C, of Laura DeForce Gordons Additionj .
PARCEL TWO: Beginning at a point on the North line
of Lockeford Street of the City of Lodi, where the
same would be intersected by the continuation North-
erly of the line dividing Lots two (2) and thsee (3) on Block thirteen (13) , in the said City of
Lodi; and running thence Northerly along the con-
tinuation of said line, dividing said Lots 2 and 3 ,
170 feet; thence Westerly and parallel with the North '
line of Lockeford Street, 50 feet; thence Southerly par-
allel with the first line thereof, 35 feet; thence
Westerly and parallel with the North line of Lockeford
Street, 50 feet; thence Southerly parallel with the first line hereof, 135 feet; thence Easterly along the
North line of Lockeford Street, 100 feet to the
point of beginning.
PARCEL THREE: Commencing at a point on the North
line of Lockeford Street of the Town of Lodi, where
the same would be intersected by the continuation
Northerly of the line dividing Lots Two (2) and
A portion of the Northwest 1/4 of
Three (3) in Block Thirteen (13) in said Town of
Lodi, and running thence Westerly along the Northerly
line of Lockeford Street, 150 feet to the point of
beginning of the tract of land herein described;
running thence Northerly parallel with said continua-
tion of the line dividing said Lots Two (2) and Three (3) in Block Thirteen (13), 135 feet, thencewest-
erly parallel to the North line of Lockeford
Street, 46.4 feet; thence Southerly 135 feet to the
North line of Lockeford Street; thence Easterly along
the North line of Lockeford Street, 43 feet to the
point of beginning.
EXCEPT the West Ten (10) feet as conveyed by Mary
Meehl, a widow, to the City of Lodi , A Municipal
Corporation, recorded February 14, 1918 in Book "A"
of Deeds, Vol. 326, Page 263.
PARCEL FOUF(: Commencing at a point on the North
line of Lockefokd Street of the Town of Lodi, where
the same would be intersected by the continuation
Northerl of the line dividing Lots Two (2)and
Three (37 in Block Thirteen (13) in said Town of
Lodi, and running thence Westerly along the North-
erly Line of Lockeford Street, 100 feet to the point
of beginning of the tract of land herein described
continuing thence Westerly along the North line of
Lockeford Street, 50 feet; thence Northerly parallel
with the continuation Northerl of said line dividing
said Lots Two (2) and Three (37 in Block Thirteen (l3), 135 feet; thence Easterly, parallel with North
line of Lockeford Street 50 feet; thence Southerly
parallel with the continuation Northerly of said
dividing Lots Two (2) and Three (3) in Block Thirteen (13), 135 feet to the point of beginning.
This property is generally described as the northeast
corner of Lockeford and Schools Streets.
The alterations, changes and amendments of said
"Official District Map of the City of Lodi" herein set
forth have been approved by the City Planning Commission and
by the City Council of this City after public hearing held in
confoxmance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 4.69 of the City of Lodi and the laws of the State of California applicable
hereto.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed in so far as such con-
flict may exist.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published one time
in the Wodi News-Sentinelll and shall be in full force and
take effect thirty (30) days from and after its passage and
approval.

introduced in regular meeting of said City Council held
October 17, 1956, and was thereafter passed, adopted and
ordered to print at the regular meeting of the City Council
held November 7, 1956, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen - Fuller, Robinsoni.and Mitchell
NOES: Councilmen - None
ABSENT: Councilmen - Hughes and Katzakian
