ORDERING THE VACATION OF PUBLIC RIGHT
OF WAY IN SCHNEIDER TRACT NO. 2 AND
CORDA TRACT
The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as
follows :
WHEREAS, this City Council, acting in accordance with
the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and
Highways Code of this State (The Street Vacation Act of 19411,
did on the 5th day of September, 1956, pass and adopt its
Resolution of Intention No. 1963 therein declaring the inten-
tion of said City Council to vacate public right of way in
Schneider Tract and Corda Tract described in said Resolution,
and

WHEREAS, notice of said intended vacation was regularly
given by publication and by pasting, both in time, form and
manner as required by law as is evidenced by affidavits on
file and of record in the office of the City Clerk of the
City of Lodi, and
Resolution No. 1963 and also contained in the posted notices
of the adoption of said Resolution, notice was given that a
public hearing would be held before said City Council in the
City Council Chambers , City Hall, Lodi, California beginning at 8:OO o'clock p.m. of Wednesday, October 17, 1956, where and
when any person interested in or objecting to said vacation
could appear and be heard in relation thereto, and
WHEREAS, at that time and place a public hearing was held
and conducted and testimony received for and against the vaca-
tion contemplated, and from the evidence submitted, the City
Council of the City of Lodi, did on the 17th day of October, 1956, determine that said public right of way is unnecessary for present or future public use and did SO find and declare,
now theref ore,
FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The following described public right of way
in the City of Lodi is hereby ordered vacated, closed up and
abandoned :
The west 25 feet of Lots 1, 24 and 25 as said lots are designated on map entitled f16chneider Tract No. 211,
filed March 20, 1951 in Volume 13, page 101, San
Joaquin County Records, and the West 25 feet of Lots 5, 6 and 19 as said lots are desi nated on map entitled
IICorda Tract", filed December 8, 1954, in Volume 14,
page 37 San Joaquin County Records.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be published one time
WHEKEAS, in accordance with the provision stated in said

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI DOES ORDAIN AS
in the Lodi News-Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation
printed and published in the City of Lodi and shall be in
force and take effect at the time and in the manner provided by law. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
ordinance to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder
of San Joaquin County as required by Section 8324 of the Streets
and Highways Code of this State.
