The Borardl of Trustees of' the City of Lodi do ordain as follows:
The use' of hicyclea on any sidewalk or sidewalk-
space an Elni street from Sacramento Btreet t
Pine street from Stockton street to Church street, on Oak street
from Sacrkmekto street to School street, on Sacramento street
from Locust sdeet ta Walnut street, and on the Bast side of
School street from Elm etreet to Oak street, is prohibited*
Secticm 2, The use of bicycles ~n any sidewalk OF sicleatalk-
space, during the period fraxll and after sunset until sunrise, is

Sectiorz 3. Esery bicycle, whih in use on any street, sldek
walk or sidemlk-spece, must be groyidetk with a bell which Dust

Sectian 4. Every rider of Q bicycle on any sidewalk or side-
walk-space must dismount, that Is to say, must remove bath feet
from the bicycRe and place them upon the sldewaHk or sidebalk-
space, befare appraaching within fifteen feet of a pedestrian,
and not, remcrunt the bicycle until the
passed.

Sectian 5. Every violation of this ordinance is punishabls
by a fine not exceeding twenty dollars, or by such Pine with the
alternative of imprisonment in the City Priaon of LQdi or the
County Jail of the County of San Joaquin, at a rate not exceed-
ing one day of inprisbfiment for each one dollar of the fine, the
time of the imprisol?ment to be stated in the judgment.
