TKS COuI?TCIL OF TI33 CITY OF LODI DOES ORllAIB AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Council of the City of Lodihereby grants to Southern
Pacific Company, a corporation organized and existing under the laws
of the State of Kentucky, its successors and assigns, the franchise,
right and privilege to construct, reconstract, renew and maintain
in said City of Lodi a standard gauge railroad traeic and appurtenances
and to operate thereon locomotives, trains and cams by steam, electric
or other motive power. The location of the center line of said rail-
road track is described as follows, to-wit:

BEGIImIITG at a point in the northerly line of Tokay
Street produced westerly, at a point thereon 31.0 feet at
right angles easterly from the center line of main track
.of the Central Pacific Railway Company, Stockton to Sacra-
mento; thence southerly parallel to and distant 31.0 feet at
right angles easterIy from said center line to a point in
the southerly line of said Tokay Street produced westerly.
