AN ORDINANCE PREZONING THE PROPERTY
KNOWN AS THE SANITARY CITY ADDITION
C-M, COMMERCIAL-LIGHT INDUSTRIAL AND
M-2, HEAVY INDUSTRIAL.

ity Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows:
Section 1. The property hereinafter described and known as Sanitarv
City Addition shall be prezoned as follows:

A portion of the South one-half of Section 31, Township 4
North, Range 7 East, and the North one-half of Section 6,
Township 3 North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base and
Meridian being described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of "REYNOLDS
ADDITION" as annexed to the City of Lodi by Ordinance No.
690, April 19, 1961, said point being also in the East line of
Lot 3, EDDLEMAN TRACT, as filed for record December 23,
1887 in Volume 1, page 26, San Joaquin County Records, and
lying 17.00 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Lot 3;
thence North O"0lfOOff West, along the East lines of Lots 3,
5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 of said EDDLEMAN TRACT
2462.65 feet to a point shown on Map of Survey filed for record
April 26, 1971. Book 222 of Survey, page 111, San Joaquin

County Records; thence North 47"49'00'' East, 282.2 feet; thence
North OoOl10O" 20.65' to a point on the westerly extension of the
North line of Filbert Street as shown on said survey; thence
North ODOl10O" West, 585 feet; thence North 31"34' East, 311.5
feet; thence North 47"06' East, 220 feet more or less, to a point
- on the south bank of the MOKELUMNE RIVER; thence in a
Westerly direction, along the South bank of said river to its inter-
section with a point in the East line of "HALLINAN ADDITION'' as
annexed to the City of Lodi by Resolution No. 3336, January 30,
1970; said point also being in the East line of Lot 40 of LAWRENCE
HOMESTEAD ADDITION, as filed in Book of Official Maps and
Plats, Volume 10, page 5, San Joaquin County Records; thence
South l"20'00" East, along said City Limit line to the Southeast
corner of said Lot 40; thence North 88"13'00" West, along the
South line of said Lot 40 and City Limit line, 686. 50 feet; thence
South OO"29'00" West, along the East line of Lots 41, 42, 43 and 44 of ,
said LAWRENCE HOMESTEAD ADDITION and City Limit line, 1815.00
feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 47 of said LAWRENCE HOMESTEAD
ADDITION; thence South 88" 13'00" East, along the North line of
Lots 47, 48 and 49 of said LAWRENCE HOMESTEAD ADDITION and
City Limit line, 1349.6 feet to a point in the East right of way line
of CLUFF AVENUE; thence South OO"38'00" West, along said East

line and City Limit line, 369.36 feet to a point in the North line of
said "REYNOLDS ADDITION"; thence Easterly, along the North
line of said "REYNOLDS ADDITION'' and City limit line, 674 feet
more or less to the point of beginning. This area thus described
containing 121.48 acres more or less. -
a) That portion of the Sanitary City Addition bounded on the north
by the Mokelumne River, on the
Turner Road and on the
by Cluff Avenue, on the south by
by Casa de Lodi and a strip of land 100
feet wide lying immediately adjacent to the east of the property commonly
known as Casa de Lodi as C-M, Commercial-Light Industrial; and pre-
zoning the remaining portion of the property in the Sanitary City Addition,
M-2, Heavy Industrial, with the condition that the 200 foot wide strip of
land lying adjacent and contiguous to the east of the property commonly
known as Casa de Lodi be reviewed prior to its development,by the Site
Plan and Architectural Review Committee for noise and aesthetics.
The above prezoning herein set forth has been approved by the City
Planning Commission and by the City Council of the City of Lodi after
public hearings held in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 27 of
the Code of the City of Lodi and the laws of the State of California appli-
cable he reto.

Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed insofar as such conflict may exist.
Section 3.
News Sentinel", a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and
published in the City of Lodi and shall be in force and take effect
thirty days from and after its passage and approval.
This ordinance shall be published one time in the "Lodi

hereby certify that Ordinance No. 1168 was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi held March 21, 1979
and was thereafter passed, adopted and ordered to print at a regular
meeting of said Council held April 4, 1979 by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen - Hughes, Katnich, Katzakian,
McCarty and Pinkerton
Noes : Councilmen - None
Absent: Councilmen - None
I I further certify that Ordinance No. 1168 was approved and
signed by the Mayor on the date of its passage and the same has been
published pursuant to law.
