AN OHDINANCE AMENDING SECllONS 20-2, 20-3 AND 20-4 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY Of' LODl AND THEHEBY PHOVIDING FOH AN
INCREASE IN THE HATES TO BE CHAKGED FOH SEWAGE, STOHM
WATEH AND INDUSTitIAL WASTES HEMOVAL.
The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Sections 20-2, 20-3 and 20-4 of the Code of the
City of Lodi are hereby amended to read in full as follows:
. Sec. 20-2, Sanitary sewage service rate schedu!es. For and
in consideration of the amounts set forth in the sanitary sewage service
rate schedules in this section, the city will receive sanitary sewage into
its sanitary sewers for final disposal by the city.

(b) For dzterminaticn of the maximum rate of deposit, all storm
waters falling on impervious areas draining directly without
retention into the city system shall be computed at the rate of
one g. p. m. for each one hundred sq. ft. of area as projected and
measured u+on a horizontal plane.
(c) For dctermination of the maximum rate of deposit of other
waters than storm waters, the maximum rate shall be the max-
imum measpred or eotimated total quantity of water expressed
in U. S. galloris diacharged in any five consecutive minutes during
the billing period divided by five, or the gallons per minute of
waete removal service requested by the customer, whichever is
the larger.

system will be reqdered only in locations where surplus capacity exists
in the sanitary scqers, aad only within the safe capacity of the city’s
activated sludge sdnitary sewage disposal plant to satisfactorily treat
such wastes aionglwith all other wastes then accruing to such plant, at
the rates set forth in 38 Rate Table following or 4B Minimum Service
Charges, whichever is the greater.
2B. In addition to the industrial wastes which the city will receive into
its industrial waste lines, the city will receive into its sanitary sewers
limited quantities of such wastes as may result from the keeping, treat-
ing, slaughtering, cleaning or dressing of fish, fowl or animals,
including minor aqnounts of offal, contcnts of alimentary canal, fat,
blood or urine; provided, that all flesh, guts, bone or solid matter has
been removed therefromaby screens specified under section 20-1 for
lnduetrial wastes. I
