HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 994ORDINANCE NO. 994 AN ORDINANCE PREZONING THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY AREA GENERALLY SOUTH OF KETTLEMAN LANE, WEST AND EAST OF SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY RIGHT OF WAY. OF U.S. 50-99 FREEWAY, NORTH OF CENTURY BOULEVARD The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: Section 1. The property hereinafter described is hereby zoned and classified as being in the C-M, Commercial=Light Industrial District, viz: Beginning at the southeast corner of the intersection of East Kettleman Lane (State Highway 12) and South Stockton Street; thence southerly to the northeast corner of South Stockton Street and Almond Drive; thence easterly 300 feet along the north line of ( Almond Drive; thence northerly and parallel to the east line of South Stockton Street to the south line of East Kettleman Lane (State Highway 12); thence westerly along the south line of East Kettleman Lane (State Highway 12) to the point of beginning of this des cr iption. Section 2. The property hereinafter described is hereby zoned and classified as being in the C-2, General Commercial District, viz: Beginning at a point 121 feet west of the southwest corner of Kettleman Lane (State Highway 12) and Voelker Drive; thence southerly 385 feet along the east line of Lot 9 of A. J. LARSON'S SUBDIVISION of the Northeast one-quarter of Section 13, Township. Three North, Range 6 East; thence westerly and parallel to the south line of said Lot 9, 1350 feet; thence northerly 360 feet and parallel to the east line of said Lot 9 to the south line of Kettleman Lane (State Highway 12), thence easterly along the south line of Kettleman Lane (State Highway 12) to the point of beginning of this description. Section 3. The property hereinafter described is hereby zoned and classified as being in the R-2, Single-Family Residential District, viz: Beginning at the point of intersection of the north line of Almond Drive and the east line of Lot 8, Map of A. J.. LARSON'S SUBDIVISION of the Northeast One-Quarter of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, said point also being the southeast corner of said Lot 8; thence westerly 1350 feet along the north line of Almond Drive to a point 300 feet east of the southwest corner of Lot 14 of said LARSON SUBDIVISION: thence northerly and parallel to the west line of said Lot 14, 1235 feet, more or less, thence easterly and parallel to the south line of Lots 8, 9 and 13 of said LARSON SUBDIVISION, 1350 feet to a point on the east line of said Lot 9; thence southerly along the east line of said Lots 8 and 9, 1235 feet to the point of beginning of this description. The above zoning herein set forth has been approved by the City Planning Commission and by the City Council of this City after public hearings held in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Lodi and the laws of the State of California applicable hereto. Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed insofar as such conflict may exist. Section 5. This ordinance shall be published one time in the "Lodi News-Sentinel, 'I a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi, and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from and -2- State of California, County of San Joaquin, ss. Bennett, City Clerk of the City of Lodi do hereby certify that Ordinance No. 994 was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi held January 17, 1973 and was thereafter passed, adopted and ordered to print at a regular meeting held February 7, 1973 by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen - KATNICH, PINKERTON, SCHAFFER and EHRHARDT Noes: Councilmen - None Absent: Councilmen - HUGJHES I further certify that Ordinance No. 994 was approved and signed by the Mayor an the date of its passage and the same has been published pursuant to law. -3-
