ORDINANCE NO. 970
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF
LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF EDGEWOOD DRIVE AT
LAKEWOOD DRIVE BETWEEN LOT 43 OF WILLOW GLEN
SUBDIVISION, UNIT NO. 1 AND LOT 172 OF LAKEWOOD
SUBDIVISION, UNIT NO. 3 TO BE IN THE P-D (8), PLANNED-
DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 8.
LODI AND THEREBY REZONING AN 8.54-ACRE PARCEL
The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows:
Section 1. The official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by
Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the
property hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present
classification as being in the R-1, Single-Family Residential District to be in
the Planned Development District No. 8 (P-D(8)), viz:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the extension
of the west line of Lot 43, Willow Glen Subdivision, Unit No. I
as filed for record on the 10th day of JanuaT'y, 1956 in Volume 14,
Page 81, Book of Maps and Plats, San Joaquin County Records, and
the centerline of Edgewood Drive, thence westerly along said
centerline a meandering course to the point of intersection with the
extension of the north line of Lot 172, Lakewood Subdivision, Unit
No. 3, as filed for record on the 10th day of June, 1965 in Volume 17,
Page 78, Book of Maps and Plats, San Joaquin County Records; thence
along said north line of said Lot 172, M 89" 54', 104. 87 feet to the
southerly toe of a levee granted to the City of Lodi by a levee
construction easement by Mr. LeMoin Beckman, et al, filed for record
on the 21st day of October, 1957 in Book 2010, Page 25, San Joaquin
County Records; thence along said southerly toe easterly in a
meandering fashion to the east line of said Lot 43, Willow Glen
Subdivision, Unit No. 1 , thence along the east line 106. 24 feet d
said Lot 43 to the point of beginning of this description.
The alterations, changes and amendments of said official District Map
of the City of Lodi herein set forth have been approved by the City Planning
Commission and by the City Council of this City after public hearings held
in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of
Lodi and the laws of the State of California applicable hereto.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are repealed insofar as such conflict may exist.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published one time in the "Lodi
a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published News-Sentinel,
in the City of Lodi and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from and
after its passage and approval.

Clerk of the City Council of said city, do hereby certify that Ordinance No.
970 was introduced at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council held
April 18, 1972 and was thereafter passed, adopted and ordered to print at a
regular meeting held May 3, 1972 by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen - EHRHARDT, HUGHES, and PINKERTON
Noes: Councilmen - KATMCH
Absent: Councilmen - SCHAFFER
I further certify that Ordinance No. 970 was approved and signed
by the Mayor on the date of its passage and the same has been published pursuant
to law.
