HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 969ORDINANCE NO. 969 AN ORDINANCE PREZONING A 600-FOOT BY 725- FOOT PARCEL LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOWER SACRAMENTO ROAD AND WEST TURNER DISTRICT. ROAD TO BE IN THE C-P, COMMERCIAL-PROFESSIONAL The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: Section 1. The property hereinafter described is hereby zoned and classified as being in the C-P, Commercial-Professional District, viz: A portion of the Northwest and Northeast Quarters of Section 3, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, and the Southwest Quarter of Section 34, Township 4 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the North line of said Section 3, said point lying 40.00 feet East of the Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 3, and being also the Northwest corner of the parcel of land annexed t o the City of Lodi as the "Rutledge Addition" and described in City of Lodi Resolution No. 2875; thence southerly, along the 'West line of said "Rutledge Addition" annexation, being along the existing City Limits line of the City of Lodi, a distance of 630.00 feet; thence leaving said IfRutledge Addition" annexation and City Limits line, North 89" 401 OOl* West, parallel with the North line of said Section 3, a distance of 806. 00 feet; thence North, parallel with the East line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 3, a distance of 660. 00 feet to a point in the North line of TURNER ROAD: thence South 89" 40' 00" East, along said North line, being 30. 00 feet North of the North line of said Section 3, a distance of 725.00 feet to intersection with the northerly production of the west line of Lower Sacramento Road; thence South along said northerly production, Section 3; thence South 89" 40' 00" East along said North line, 30.00 feet to the North line of said 80.00 feet to the point of beginning, and containing 12. 1 acres, more or less. The above zoning herein set forth has been approved by the City Planning Commission and by the City Council of this City after public hearings held in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Lodi and the laws of the State of California applicable hereto. Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed insofar as such conflict may exist. Section 3. This ordinance shall be published one time in the "Lodi News Sentinel, (' a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi, and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from and after its passage and approval. Bennett, City Clerk of the City of Lodi do hereby certify that Ordinance No. 969 was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi held April 5, thereafter passed, adopted and ordered to print at an adjourned 1972 and was regular meeting held April 18, 1972 by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen - Ehrhardt, Hughes, Kirsten, Schaffer and Katnich Noes: Councilmen - None Absent: Councilmen - None I further certify that Ordinance No. 969 was approved and signed by the Mayor on the date of its passage and the same has been published pursuant to law.
