AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.21. 1 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF LODI ENTITLED, "DECREASING
STATE SPEED LIMIT ON CERTAIN STREETS," AND
THEREBY DECREASING THE STATE SPEED LIMIT ON
TURNER ROAD BETWEEN LOWER SACRAMENTO ROAD
AND 700 FEET WEST OF MILLS AVENUE AND CHURCH
STREET AND US 99 FREEWAY.
The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 14.21. 1 of the Code of the City of Lodi
is hereby amended by the addition of the following:
"Turner Road, from Lower Sacramento Road to
700 feet west of Mills Avenue, 35 miles per hour."
"Turner Road, from Church Street to US 99 Freeway,
45 miles per hour.''
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published one time in the
"Lodi News-Sentinel, a daily newspaper of general circulation printed
and published in the City of Lodi and shall be in force and take effect
thirty days from and after its passage and approval.

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 967 was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi held
January 5, 1972, and was thereafter passed, adopted and ordered
to print at a regular meeting held January 19, 1972, by the following
vote:
Ayes: Conncil-en -.,Ehrhardt, Hughes, Kirsten, Schaffer
and Katnich
Noes: Councilmen - None
Absent: Councilmen - None
I further certify that Ordinance No. 967 was approved and
signed by the Mayor on the date of its passage and the same
has been published pursuant to law.
