The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi do ordain as folloars:
Section 1. The City Treasurer shall be Ex-Officio City Tax Collector
of the City of Lodi, and it shall be his duty, instead of the duty of
the City larshal, to collect all taxes levied and assessed. by the Board
OP Trustees, of said. City of Lodi,
Section 2. The City Marsi?al is hereby appointed Ex-Officio Super-
intendent of Streets of the City of Lodi, and he shall have general
supervision of the streets of said city, and perform all other duties
prescribed by law €or Superintendents of Streets.
Section 3. 3efore entering upon the thties of his ofiice, said
Sqerintendent of Streets shell give a bond to the said City of Lodi in
the penal sum of $1000.0O, /LO 7
Section 4. This Ordinance shdl be published in The Lodi Sentinel,
and shall tske effect and be in force lrom an? after ’cherdh day of
April, A. D. 1918.
I hereby approve and sign the foregoing ordinance this 11th day of
