TO THE CITY OF LODI
ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CNRTAW
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED IIROBBY~S AI~ITION, 'I
The Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows:
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of January, 1970, the Council of the City of Lodi
did pass and adopt Resolution No.
certain uninhabited territory to the City of Lodi,
designated as "Robby's Addition, 'I said Resolution describing thqi boundaries of
the territory proposed to he annexed; and
3334 giving notice of the psokosal to annex
said territory being therein
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 3334 did contain a notice of the day,
hour and place when and where the Council of the City would heyr protests
made by any person owning real property within the territory ppoposed to be
annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than forty nor bore than
sixty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution was duly published in accordkince with
law; and
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of March, 1970, at the hour bf 8:OO p.m..
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Lodi, Ebunty of
San Joaquin, State of California, said time and place being the &ay, hour
and place fixed in said Resolution No. 3334 for hearing protestkl to the said
annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass upon all prHtests made
to the proposed annexation and did determine that protests had not been
made by the owners of one-half of the value of the privately odhed territory
proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessmbnt roll, nor
6y public owners of one-half of the value of the publicly owned territory
proposed to be annexed as determined by said legislative body; Bnd
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Wdi, and is
uninhabited territory in the County of San Joaquin:

NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of Lo& does hereby
approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described td the City of
Lodi,
annexed to the City of Lodi.
and does hereby further ordain that the said territory bq and is hereby
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City! of Lodi is
herein approved, is all that territory situate in the County of San Joaquin,
State of California, more particularly described as follows:
A portion of the Northwest one-quarter of Section j13, Township
three (3) North, Range six (6) East, Mount Diablo Basq and Meridian,
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the Southiline of
said Northwest one-quarter with the East right-of-way qf WEST
LANE (110 feet wide); thence North 87" 42' East, alongil said South
line, being along the City Limits line as described by City of Lodi
Ordinance No. 901, J. C. BECKMAN ADDITION, adoptbd July 2:
1969, a distance of 704.95 feet to a point in the centerline of CHURCH
STREET; thence leaving said City Limits line, Northerlb, along said
centerline 30.00 feet; thence South 87" 25' 30" West, 200.00 feet;
thence Northerly, parallel to the centerline of said CHeRCH STREET,
300,:OO feet: thence North 87" 25' 30" East 10.00 feet thence
Northerly and parallel to the centerline of said CHURCH STREET,
170.00 feet to a point in the South line of that certain (tract of land
described in deed to Eilen E. Goehring, et ux. recorddd in Volume 3242,
page 26, Book of Official Records of San Joaquin Countk; thence
Westerly, along said South line, 532.49 feet to a point llin said
East right-of-way line of WEST LANE, said point being on aforesaid
City Limits line as described by said City of Lodi Ordtnance No. 901:
thence Southerly, along said East right-of-way line and!l City Limits
line, the area thds described
containing 6.028 acres, more or less.

of the City Council of the City of Lodi held March 4, 1970, and was
thereafter passed, adopted and ordered to print at a reghlar meeting
of said Council held March 18, 1970, by the followinp vdte:
Ayes: Councilmen - Brown, Culbeitson, Hunbell and Kirsten
Noes: Councilmen - None
Absent: Councilmen - Schaffer
I further certify that Ordinance No. 924 was appdoved and signed
by the Mayor on the date of its passage and the same b4s been
