HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 922ORDINANCE NO. 922 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LODI AMEW~ING ORDINANCE NO. 514, SECTION 3 THEREOF, WHICH ESTABLISHED SET WEIGHTS FOR COMMERCML VEHICLES ON CERTAIN STREETS. The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as flollows: Section 1. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 514 which enacts Section 198 of Ordinance No. 493 is hereby amended so that Section 198 of Ordinance No. 493 is amended to read in full as follows: Section 198. In accordance with Section 14-24 of the Code of the kity of Lodi, the following streets and parts of streets are hereby declared to be streets the ~se of which is prohibited by any cwmmercial vehicles or by any vehicles exceeding a maximum gioss weight limit as hereinafter set forth: Commercial vehicles and trucks prohibited. (a) Vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weigHt of three tons: (1) Holly Drive. Vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weight of five tons: (1) (b) Tokay Street - from Cherokee Lane to Stocktbn Street. Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances +n conflict herewith are repealed insofar as such conflict may exist. Section 3. This ordinance shall be published one ti& in the "Lodi of general circulation pr'rnted and published in force and take effect thirUy days from and lerk State of California, County of San Joaquin, 58 I, Bessie L. Bennett, City Clerk of the City of Lodd hereby certify that Ordinance No. 922 was introduced at a regular deeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi held February 4, 1970, and was thereafter passed, adopted and ordered to print at a regular meeting of'said Council held February 18, 1970, by the following vote: yes: Councilmen - BROWN, CULBERTSON, HU~NELL, SCHAFFER and UlRSTEN Noes: Councilmen - None Absent: Councilmen - None I further certify that Ordinance No. signed by the Mayor on the date of its passag been published pursuant to law.
