HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 921ORDINANCE NO. 921 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14-24 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LODI THEREBY PROHIBITING COMMERCIAL VEHICLES ON CERTAIN STREETS. The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: Section 1. Section 14-24 (a) of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended to read in full as follows: (a) Whenever any ordinance of the city designates and describes any street or portion thereof as a street the use of which is prohibited by any commercial vehicles or by any vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weight as thekein specified, the city engineer shall erect and maintain appropriate signs on those streets affected by such ordinance. Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed insofar as such conflict may exist. Section 3. This ordinance shall be published olie time in the "Lodi News-Sentinel, '' a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi, and shall he in force and take effect thirty days from and 1 970. -1- State of California, County of San Joaquin, ss.
