HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 909ORDINANCE NO. 909 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF LODI AND THEkEBY REZONING CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND BOUNDED BY TURNER ROAD, NORyff STOCKTON STREET, EAST ELM STREET AND THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY MAIN TRACKS FROM THE M, INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO THE M-1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AND THE M-2, HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT. The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: Section 1. The official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by Section 27-2 of the Code of tne City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present classification as being in the M, Industrial District to be in the M-I, Light Industrial District, viz: '! City of Lodi, Block 29, Lots 5 - 8 Section 2. The official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present classification as being in the M, Industria? District to be in the M-2, Heavy Industrial District, viz: City of Lodi, Blocks 22 and 30. Lawrence Homestead Addition Map No. 2, Blocks 1, 2. 4 and the Western one-half of 5. That area bounded On the North by the south line of Turner Road, on the East by the west line of Stockton Street, &n the South by a line running paralldl to and 641. 2 feet north of the north line of Lawrence Avenue, and on the West by the main nortbnsouth tracks of the Southern Pacific Railroad. Section 2. The alterations, changes and amendments of the official District Map of the City of Lodi herein set forth have been approved by the City Planning Commission and by the City Council of this Ci:hy after public hearings held in conformance with the provisions of Chadter 27 of the Code of the City of Lodi and the laws of the State of California applicable hereto. Section 3. All ordihances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed insofar as such conflict may exist. Section 4. This ordinance shall be published on$ time in the "Lodi News Sentinel, I' a daily newhpaper of general circulation' printed and published in the City of Lodi, and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from and after its passage and approval. ie L.
