ORDINANCE NO. 8 7 5
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL DIS TRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF
LODI AND THEREBY REZONING CERTAIN PARCELS ZONED
R-1, R-3 AND R-4 DISTRICTS TO R-MD AND R-HD DISTRICTS
IN AREAS DESIGNATED 6 AND 7
The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows:
Section 1. The Official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by
Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property
hereinafter described-rezoned and reclassified from its present classification
as being in the R-1, Single-Family Residential District to be in the R-HD,
High Density Multiple-Family Residential District viz:
Parcel located at 471 Almond Drive and consisting of the Almond
Drive Estates Mobile Home Park.
Section 2. The Official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by
Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property
hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present classification
as being in the R-3, Limited Multiple-Family Residential District to be in the
R-MD, Medium Density Multiple-Family Res idefitial District, viz:
Lodi Barnhart Tract, Lots 18, 38 except the north 145 fe4t of the
east 170 feet and 53;
Newzell Subdivision, Lots 1 - 22;
Parcels located at 940 Wellswood Avenue; 425, 429 and 435 Mission
Street; and 939 and 951 South Garfield Street;
Wellswood Park, Block 1, Lots 3 - 19; Block 2, Lots 1 - 9 and 17 - 19;
Block 3 and Block 4, Lots 11 and 12;
Parcels located at 1007, 1027, 1035, 1039, 1041, 1051 South Central

501, 505, 509, 513, 517, 517 112 and 521 East Tokay Street which parcels
are a portion of Lot 13, Lodi Barnhart Tract;
Parcels located at 415, 419, 425, 429, 433, 437, 441, 441 112 and 445
East Tokay Street; 615 South Garfield Street and 408, 412, 412 112,
416, 418, 418 112, 424, 428, 432, 436, 442, and 44 Eden Street which
parcels are a portion of Block 14, Lodi Barnhart Tract;

as being in the R-4, Multiple-Family Residential Institutional District to be in
the R-MD, Medium Density Multiple-Family Residential District, viz:
Parcels located at 306, 308, 312, 322, 324, 328, 334 and 340 Poplar
Street;
Lodi Barnhart Tract, Lot 45;
Parcels located at 245, 305, 307, 317, 321, 325, 331 and 335 East
Kettleman Lane; 1311, 1317, 1321, 1325, 1333 and 1341 South Central
Avenue ;
Acacia Tract, Blocks 1 and 2 and
Parcels located at 718, 726, 728, 730, 734, 740 and 744 South Central
Avenue.
Section 4. The Official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by
Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property
hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present classification
as being in the R-4, Multiple-Family Residential Institutional District to be in the
R=HD, High Density Multiple-Family Residential District, viz:
Resubdivision of Lot 72, Lodi Barnhart Tract, Lots 6 - 20;
Lodi Barnhart Tract Block 1, Lots 13 - 24, Block 2, Lots 15 - 24;

Parcels located at 524 Eden; 525, 529, 533 and 537 East Tokay Street
and the west 145 feet of a parcel at the southwest corner of Cherokee

10 - 13; Lots 8 and 9, west 110 feet and Lots 6 and 7 except the east
100 feet;
Walnut Orchard Tract, Lots 38, 39 and 40, the east 120 feet and Lot 37;
and Parcel bounded by Lot 40 of the Walnut Orchard Tract on the north;
Lloyd Street on the east; Lot 41 of the Walnut Orchard Tract on the
west; and a line 210 feet south and parallel to the south line of said Lot 40.
Section 9. The alternations, changes and amendments of the Official
District Map of the City of Lodi herein set forth have been approved by the City
Planning Commission and by the City Council of this City after public hearings
held in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of
Lodi and the laws of the State of California applicable hereto.
Section 10. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed insofar as such conflict may exist.
Section 11. This ordinance shall be published one time in the "Lodi

News Sentinel, " a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and
published in the City of Lodi, and shall be in force and take effect thirty
days from and after its passage and approval.
