ORDINANCE NO. 8 74
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL DIS TRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF
LODI AND THEREBY REZONING CERTAIN PARCELS ZONED
R-2, R-3, R-4 AND M-INDUS TRIAL DISTRICTS TO R-GA,
R-MD, AND R-HD DIS TRICTS IN AREAS DESIGNATED 3 AND 5
The City Council of the City of Lodi doe s ordain as follows :
Section 1. The Official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by
Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property
hereinafter described rezoned and re cla s s ified from its pred class ification
as being in the R-3, Limited Multiple-Family Residential District to be in the
R-GA, Garden Apartment Residential District, viz:
Parcel located at 331 West Turner Road.
Section 2. The Official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by
Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property
hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present classification
as being in the R.4, Multiple-Family Residential Institutional District to be in
the R-GA, Garden Apartment Residential District, viz:
Parcel located at 321 West Turner Road which is the site of the
Gross Convalescent Home.
Section 3. The Official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by
Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property
hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present classification
as being in the R-2, -5ifigl arriily Re~sidential District t6 be in bhe R-MD,:
Medium Density Multiple-Family Residential District; viz:
Froehnert Subdivision, Lots 1 - 4 and 25 - 32.
Section 4. The Official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by
Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property
hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present classification
as being in the R-3, Limited Multiple-Family Residential District to be in the

R-MD, Multiple-Family Residential District, viz:
Burr's Addition to Lodi, Blocks 5 and 6 of the west one-half of
Blocks 3 and 4;
Resubdivision of Block 2 of the Ayers and Pitchers Addition, Lots
1 - 6;
Froehnert Subdivision, Lots 43 - 51;
Burr's Additicn Subdivision No. 10, Block 1, Lots 1 - 4, 5, 7, 9, 11,
13, 15, 17 and 19 and Block 2;
Burr's Addition, portion of Lot 11 consisting of parcels located at
500, 506, and 512 Lincoln Street and 300 - 332 Daisy Avenue;
Kirst Estates No. 2, Lots 23 - 37;
Forrest's Addition, Blocks 1, 2 and Block 4, Lots 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12,
14, 16, 18 and 20;
Parcels located at 524, 530, 534, 536, 540 and 544 Daisy Avenue;
Parcels located at 523, 524, 529, 541 and 547 Olive Court;
Koontz Subdivision, Lots 1 - 7;
Parcel at 436 Daisy Avenue, and
Parcel at 510 North California Street.
Section 5. The Official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by
Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property
hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present classification
as being in the R-4, Multiple-Family Residential Institutional District tolherin the
R-MD, Medium Density Multiple-Family Residential District, viz:
Koontz Subdivision, Lots 8 - 33;
Parcels located at 403, 407, 411, 415 and 421 Daisy Avenue;
Parcel located at 500 North California Street;
Parcels located at 401, 405 and 412 Lincoln Avenue;
Parcels located at 400, 402, 404 and 406 First Street;

Parcels located at 427 and 433 Matthew Plaza;
Parcel located at 401 North Pleasant Avenue;

Section 6. The Official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by
Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property
hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present classification
as being in the R-3, Limited Multiple-Family Residential District to be in the
R-HD, High Density Multiple-Family Residential District, viz:
Burr's Addition to Lodi, east one-half of Blocks 3 and 4;
Parcels located at 714, 718 and 722 North Church Street;
Parcel located at 116 Louie Avenue;
Moran Handel Tract, Block 1, Lots 1 - 14;
Parcels located at 509, 513, 516, 517, 518, 602, 604, 610, 614 and
616 North Church Street;
Parcels located at 203, 205, 215, 219 Olive Court; and
J. W. Brier Land, Lots 11 - 14.
Section 7. The Official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by
Section 27 -2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property
hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present classification
as being in the R-4, Multiple-Family Residential Institutional District to be in
the R-HD, High Density Multiple-Family District, viz:

Section 8. The Official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by
Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property
hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present classification
as being in the M, Industrial District to be in the R-HD, High Density Multiple-
Family Residential District, viz:
City of Lodi, Block 31, Lots 3 - 6;
City of Lodi, Block 42, Lots 1 - 4;
Albright Addition, Lots 1 - 12; and
Brier and Kenney’ s Addition, Block 47 and Block 48, Lots 1 and 2.
Section 9. The alterations, changes and amendments of the Official
District Map of the City of Lodi herein set forth have been approved by the City
Planning Commission and by the City Council of this City after public hearings
held in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 27 of the Code of the Cityof
Lo& and:& laws of the State of California applicable hereto.
Section 10. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed insofar as such conflict may exist.
Section la. This ordinance shall be published one time in the “Lodi News
Sentinel, ‘I a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the
City of Lodi, and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from and after its
passage and approval.
