HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 87P ORUINANCE NUMBER 87. - AN ORBINANCIS LEVYING TAXES IN TKE YEAR 1916 IN PROVISIm OP RWENUE FOR TKE FISCAL YEKR BEGI1L”ING JULY 1, 1917, -----o----- The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi do ordain as follows: Section 1. In the year 1916, and in provision of revenue for Said City of Lodi for the fiscal year beginning JUIY 1, 1917, upon all the real and personal property within the City of Lodi, taxable for mriicipal purposes, there is hereby levied taxes as follws J towit: For the general purposes oi saia city, at the ra.te of T.irty cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed value of said taxable property; for public library puTposes of said City at the rate of thirteen cents on ?ach one hundred dol- lars of the assessea value of said taxable property; and for bond reaenptioli and iriterest purposes of said City at the rate of thirty-seven cents on each one hundred do7 -Lars of the assessed value of Said taxable property. . The aforesaid tax rate Or-thirty-seven cent,s on each one hundred dollars of’ t%le assessed value of Said taxable property is the rate for bond redemption and interest on bonds of said City issued and outstanding on the 8th day of November, 1910, having been issued in the year 1908, and is apportioned as follows: Por redemption and interest on sewer bonds fourteen Cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed Value of said taxable property; For redeniption and interest on water and light bonds twenty- three cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed value of said taxable property. Section 2, This ordinance shall be published one time in The Lodi Sentinel , a v-ewspaper of general circul.ation, printed and published in the said City of Lodi, and Shall take effect thirty clays after its passage, approval and publication.
