HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 809ORDINANCE NO. 809 ZONING PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF TURNER ROAD BETWEEN STOCKTON STREET AND THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD, KNOWN AS THE "WEST- WAREHOUSES ADDITION, TO BE IN 'THE "MI1 INDUSTRIAL ZONE The City Council of Section 1. The property hereinafter described is hereby zoned and classified as being in the "M" Industrial District, City of Lodi does ordain as follows: viz : Beginning at a point on present City Limits of the City of Lodi, which point is the Northwest corner of Lot 6, Lawrence Homestead Addition, as filed for record on April 5, 1920 in Volume 10, page 5, Book of Maps and Platst, San Joaquin County Records; thence Northerly along a curve concave to the West having a radius of 5779 .6 feet; through an angle of 0' 30', a distance of 49.85 feet to a point, which point is a corner of the present City Limits; thence leaving the City Limits and continuing along said curve through an angle of 0' 09l, a dis- tance of 15.03 feet; thence North 88' 35O East, 64.75 feet North of (measured at right angles) and parallel to the North line of said Section 1, as shown on Map of Survey filed for record on March 7, 1961 in Volume 11, Record of Surveys, page 89, San Joaquin County Records, 245.96 feet; thence South 79' 46' East, 122.53 feet; thence North 88' 35s East, 40.0 feet North of (measured at right angles) and parallel to, said North line of Section 1, a distance of 172.45 feet; thence South 1' 25' East, 10.0 feet; thence North 88' 35' East, 30.0 feet North Of (measured at right angles) and parallel to, said North line of Section 1, a distance of 60.12 feet, more or less, to the point of intersection with the Northerly extension of the East line of Stockton Street; thence South 4' 42' West along said extension of Stockton Street 30.06 feet, more or less, to the point of intersection with the North line of said Section 1; 1. thence North 88O 35' West along said North line, being also an existing City Limits line, 324.12 feet to the Northwest corner of the parcel of land annexed to the City of Lodi as the "Northridge AdditionYt1 as described in City of Lodi Ordinance No. 757; thence continuing along the present City Limits South 4O 461 West, 416.56 feet; thence South 85' lbP East, 61 feet; thence South 4' 46' West, 91 feet; thence North 85' 14' West, 61 feet; thence South 4' 46s West, 57 feet; thence North 85' 1ks West, 71.3 feet; thence South 4' 42! West, 601 feet to the South line of Lot 18 of said Lawrence Homestead Addition; thence North 89' 06' West along said South line of Lot 18, being also an existing City Limits line, 204.03 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 18; thence North 4' 42s East along the West line of said Lot 18 and the West line of Lots 7 and 6 of said Lawrence Homestead Addition, being also an existing City Limits line, 1161.2 feet to the point of beginning; the area thus described containing 7.2 acres, more or less. The above zoning herein set forth has been approved by the City Planning Commission and by the City Council of this City after public hearings held in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 27 of the Code of the CSty of Lodi and the laws of the State of California applicable hereto. Section 2. All-)ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby repealed insofar as such conflict may exist . Section 3.
