HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 801ORDINANCE NO. 801 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 781 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 606 OF THE CITY OF LODI AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RATES FOR THE SALE OF ELECTRIC ENERGY BY THE CITY OF LODI" AND THEREBY PROVIDING FOR 400-WATT 0tJ"DOOR DUSK-TO-DAWN LIGHTING RATES The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: Section 1. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 781, entitled '(an Ordinance Repealing Ordinance No. 606 of the City of Lodi and Enacting a New Ordinance Establishing Rates for the Sale of Electric Energy by the City of Lodi," is hereby amended to read in full as f 011 ows : Section 5. SCHEDULE B-I - OUTDOOR DUSK-TO-DAWN LIGHTING shall be applicable to City-owned and maintained outdoor over- head lighting service where street light service schedules do not apply. (a) RATE: For each 175-watt Mercury Vapor lamp - $3.50 per month For each MO-watt Mercury Vapor lamp - $5.70 per month (b) CHARACTER OF SERVICE: Lamps shall be approximately 175-watt or 400-watt Mercury Vapor with luminaire and bracket, as specified by City of Lodi Utility Department, and shall be supported on City-owned poles which are used to carry distri- bution system circuits for other City purposes and shall be at locations approved by the City of Lodi. Lamps will be controlled to burn from dusk to dawn each night so as to give approximately 4,000 houI-8 of lighting service annually. (c) BILLING: Service rendered under this schedule will be billed monthly or bi-monthly at City's option, in conjunction with an existing metered account, and will appear on City bill as. EB Iwith-.s.s meter readings. Section 2. This ordinance shall be published one time in the "Lodi News Sentinel," a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi, and shall be in force and take 1. effect thirty days from and after its passage and approval.
