HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 775ORDINANCE NO. 775 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF LODI AND THEREBY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SYLVIA DRIVE AND FAIRMONT AVENUE TO BE IN THE C-P COMMERCIAL-PROFESSIONAL OFFICE ZONE The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: Section 1. The official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by Section 27-2 of the Code of the City of Lodi is hereby amended and the property hereinafter described rezoned and re- classified from its present classification as being in the R-1 One-Family Residential District to be in the C-P Commercial- Professional Office District, viz: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the parcel of land described in the deed to the City of Lodi, a municipal corporation, recorded December 5, 1962, in Volume 2625 of Official Records, page 429, said point being on the West line of Fairmont Avenue; running thence Northerly along said West line of Fairmont Avenue, 476.5 feet, more or less, to the North line of the land described in the deed to Bethel Open Bible Church of Lodi, recorded April 30, 1964, in Volume 2816 of Official gecords, page 609; thence leaving said West line of Fairmont Avenue and running Westerly along the Northerly boundary of the land described in said Deed 25’0 feet to a point; thence leaving said Northerly line and running Southerly parallel to the West line of said Fairmont Avenue, to a point in the North line of the parcel of land described in said deed to City of Lodi, said point being 250 feet Westerly from the West line of said Fairmont Avenue; thence Easterly along said North line 250 feet to the point of beginning, the area thus described containing 2.7 acres, more or less. 1. The alterations , changes and amendments of said 'IOff icial District Map of the City of Lodi" herein set forth have been approved by the City Planning Commission and by the City Council of this City after public hearings held in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Lodi and the laws of the State of California applicable hereto. Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed in so far as such conflict may exist. Section 3. This ordinance shall be published one time in the "Lodi News Sentinel," a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi, and shall be in force- and take effect thirty days from and after its passa day of Nove P FRED M.
