HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 743\ ORDINANCE NO. 743 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF LODI AND THEREBY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF CHESTNUT STREET BETWEEN CHURCH STREET AND SCHOOL STREET TO BE IN THE R-4 MULTIPLE-FAMILY- INSTITUTIONAL RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: Section 1. The Official District Map of the City of Lodi adopted by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 469 (Zoning Ordinance) is hereby amended and the property hereinafter described rezoned and reclassified from its present classification as being in the R-3 Limited Multiple Family Residential District to be in the R-4 Multiple-Family-Institutional Residential District, viz: Lots I and 2, Block 5, as shown upon map entitled IIHutchins Addition to Lodi," filed for record April 10, 1897, in Volume 1, page 58, Book of Maps and Plats, San Joaquin County Records, and Lot 7 as shown upon map entitled "Black Tract," filed for record July 17, 1919, in Volume 9, page 59, Book of Maps and Plats, San Joaquin County Records. The alterations, changes and amendments of said "Official District Map of the City of Loditl herein set forth have been approved by the City Planning Commission and by the City Council of this City after public hearing held in conformance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 469 of the City of Lodand the laws of the State of California applicable hereto.' Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed in so far as such conflict may exist. This ordinance shall be published one time in the Section 3. Lodi News Sentinel, a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi, and shall be in force and take State of California, County of San Joaquin, ss. I, BEATRICE GARIBALDI, City Clerk of the City of Lodi, do hereby certify that Ordinance No. 743 was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council. of the City of Lodi held February 6, 1963, and was thereafter passed, adopted and ordered to print at a regular meeting held February 20, 1963, by the following vote: AYES : CounciLmen - BROWN, CULBERTSON, DOW, ULLMANN and NOES : Councilmen - NONE ABSENT: Councilmen - NONE I further certify that Ordinance No. 74-3 was approved and KATZAKIAN signed by the Mayor on the date of itts passage and haseen pub- 2.
