ORDINANCE NO. 732
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LODI AMENDING LODI CITY CODE
FOR APARTMENTS IN THE C-P COMMERCIAL PROFESSIONAL OFFICE
ZONE AND PROHIBITING RECONSIDERATION OF AN APPLICATION FOR REZONING WHICH HAS BEEN DENIED WITHIN THE PAST YEAR
CHAPTER 27 THEREBY INCREASING THE LAND AREA REQUIREMENTS
The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Paragraph (b) of Section 27-9 of the Lodi City Code
is hereby amended to read in full as follows:
(b) Heiftht-gxLazga.
1. Building height limit: Two stories and not to exceed
thirty-f ive feet.
2. Building site area requirements: For dwellings, the
provisions shall be the same as in the R-3 District as
provided in subsection (b) of section 27-7. For other
permitted types of buildings, the minimum lot size shall
be that sufficient to provide the yard areas and parking
spaces required, but in no case shall a lot contain less
than four thousand square feet.

Section 2. There is hereby added to Section 27-19 of the Lodi
City Code the following subsection:
(f) Reconsideration. No petition for the reclassification of
a specific property shall be accepted if final action has been
taken by the Planning Commission or the City Council to deny

not prohibit the Planning Commission nor the City Council from
initiating such a change.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published one time in the
"Lodi News Sentinel,!' a daily newspaper of general circulation printed
and published in the City of Lodi, and shall be in force and take
