of Section I'lumber Fourteen of Ordinance Number sixty-five.
The Board of Trustees of the Citg of ?.odi do ordain as follows:
Section 1. - Subdivision Twelii>-nine of Section Fourteen of Ordinance
Sixtg-five is liereb) 8xei:cieZ to read as foll.ons:
Subd.ivision 29, - Zvery persor:,fir !I or corporation engagin:: in
the wliolesnle liquor business in the eits of Lodi shall pay a
license tax of 36.00 per quarter year.
For the purpose of this subdivision ,liquors are
divided into three classes and the sale thereof r,egulated as
hereinafter provid.ec1.

The sale of all 1iZuoi"s enunerated in class "a" hereof
in quantities less than one-fif th gallon is hereby prohibited.

packages and must be sold in quantities of not less than two
ciozei1 bottles con$aining oris- 'ianth gallon and one d.ozeii
bottles conteining one-fifth E;nlloii,all of which must at one
time be removed frc;,n the premises.
The sale of liquors enumerated in class "c" are hersby
autlhorlized as foilows:

Any holder of a wholesale license who slia.11 pErtnit
liquor to be drunk oil tho prernisss or on adjacent premises
under his control shail be deemed to have violated this or-
dinance.
Any license issued under this subdivision may be .
peremptorily revoked by the Board of Tr-ustees if in their
judgment the general reputetion of tile licensee or the place
of business OF the tnenner of conducting the same warrant such
cancellation.
No person suffering a cancellation of his license
shall be again granted a liceiise unc!er this subdivision with-
in the period of one year from ths dhte of such cancellation.
Section X-,This ortiiiancs shall be published by being priiited and
posted in three public places in the Sity of Lodi and shall tzke
effect and be in force froa and after .thirty days after its passage
arid posting.

for passage at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Lodi held on Feb .3 , 1913, and was, thereafter on Feb .lo, 1913 *
duly passed and adopted by the following Vote:
Ayes:Trustees Blodgett ,Hale,LaWrenCe and Rich.
Woes: Trustee Black. Absent: None.
And that said ordinance was thereupon approved and signed by
the Presidast of the Board of Trusteea.
