AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7, TABLE 111, AND
SECTION 12 OF ORDINANCE NO. 444 ENTITLED "AN OR-
DINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF OFFICERS AND
EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF LODI" AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH.
The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Section 7, Table 111, of Ordinance No. 444 of
the City of Lodi and all amendments thereof subsequently adopted
be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby added a new Table I11 of Section
7 of Ordinance No. 44-4 of the City of Lodi, said Table I11 to
read in full as follows:

Section 3. Section 12 of Ordinance No.?& is hereby amended By
by the addition of a new sub-section, which shall read as follows:
(h) Every employee having completed ten (10) years or more
of continuous full time employment with the City of Lodi shall
be allowed vacation leave with pay at the rate of three (3)
calendar weeks for each full year of service thereafter.
Employees working a forty (40) hour week schedule shall
accumulate vacation leave at the rate of one and one-fourth
(14) working days per month, beginning with the first month
following the completion of ten (10) full years of employment.
Such employees working a schedule different from forty (40)
hours per week shall accumulate vacation time at a rate which
will provide the nearest practicable equivalent of three (3)
calendar weeks of vacation leave per year. Employees with
ten (10) years or more of continuous service on or before
August 1, 1960 shall commence accumulating their additional
vacation allowances as of that date.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be published one time after
its final passage and approval in the "Lodi News-Sentinel," a daily
newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City
of Lodi.

do hereby certify that Ordinance No. 682 was introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi-
held August 17, 1960 and was thereafter passed,
adopted and ordered to print at a regular meeting held Septem-
ber 7, 1960 by the following vote:
A&es: Councilmen - Brown, Katzakian, Mitchell, Ullmann
and Culbertson
Noes: Councilmen - None
Absent: Councilmen - None
I further certify that Ordinance No. 682 was approved and
signed by the Mayor on the date of its passage and that the
same has been published pursuant to law.
