Home My WebLink AboutOrdinances - No. 559In the City Council City of Lodi Lodi , California ORDINANCE NO. 559 BMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4.69 TO REDUCE BUILDING SET- BACK REQUIREMENTS IN ALL RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS. The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: Section 1. Section 5.3 (1) of Ordinance No. 469 is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 5.3 WINIMUM YARDS: 1. Front Yard: Not less than twenty (20) feet to the front line of the main building and not less than twelve (12) feet to the front line of the uncovered porch or paved terrace. See General Provisions and Exceptions for cases where at least forty (40) per cent of a block is developed with buildings. Section 2. Section 7.3 (1) of Ordinance No. 469 is here- by amended to read as follows: Section 7.3 MINIMUM YARDS _r 1. Front Yard: Not less than fifteen (15) feet to the front line of the main building and not less than seven (7) feet to the front line of an uncovered porch or paved terrace, except that any car port or garage must be.set back not lessthan twenty (20) feet. See General Provisions and Exceptions for cases where at least forty (40) per cent of a block is developed with buildings. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be published one time in the “Lodi News-Sentinel” , a daily newspaper of general c ircu- lation printed and published in the City of Lodi and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from and after its passage.
