. ORDINANCE NO. 558
AN ORDINANCE AVENDING ORDINANCE NO. 536
AND MIENDING SET-BACK LINE ON SOUTH
SACRAIviENTO STREET
The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as
follows :
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 536, entitled,
"Establishing a Building Set-Back Line on South Sacramento
Street from West Lodi Avenue to the Cul-De-Sac South of
Tamarack Drive 30 Feet East and West of the Center Line
of Said Street", is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. From and after the effective date
of this ordinance, no building or structure, except public
works appertaining to the portion of street hereinafter
described, shall be erected, placed or maintained between
two lines drawn parallel to and thirty (30) feet easterly
and westerly from the following described line:
Beginning at a point bearing North 0' East
and 166.65 feet from the Southeast corner of Lot
7, of Helmenstein Tract, as filed for record
September 21, 1951, in Vol. 13, page 108,
Book of Mpas and Plats, San Joaquin County Records;
thence North 4.O 3641 East to the South line of Lot 1
of A. J. Larson's Subdivision of a portion of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 12, T3N, R6E, M.D.B.mI.
as filed for record December 8, 1891, in Vol. 2,
page 6, Book of Maps and Plats, San Joaquin County
Records; thence Northerly to a point 173.21 feet from
the Southeast corner and on the South line of
Salas Tract as filed for record April17,,1956,
in Vol. 14, page 91, Book of Maps & Plats, San
Joaquin County Records, said point being also
the center line of Sacramento Street as shown on
the map of Salas Tract; thence Northerly along
the center line of Sacramento Street as shown on
Map of Salas Tract, as filed for record April
17, 1956, in Vol. 14, page 91, Book of Maps &
Plats, San Joaquin County Records and Map of
Survey of Property being portions of Lot 34,
Larson's Addition to Lodi, San Joaquin County,
California, as filed for record September 11, 1946,
Vol. 6, page 234, Record of Survey, San Joaquin
County, California; and from the North line of
Lot 34 to the Southerly extension of Lot 5, of
Nap of Larson's Addition to Lodi, as filed for
record April 4, 1896, Vole 2, page 10, Maps &
Plats; thence from a point on the Southerly ex-
tension of Lot 5, of said 1%~ of Larson's Addition
to Lodi, said point being the center line of
Sacramento Street and lying 239 feet measured at
right angles from the center line'of the Southern
Pacific Company right-of-way, along a line to a
point on the North line of Sec. 12, T3N , R6E,
measuring 222.0 feet Westerly from the center
line of the Southern Pacific Company."

Section 2. This ordinance shall be published one
time in the "Lodi News-Sentinel", a newspaper of general
circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi,
1 and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from

certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 558 was intro-
duced in regular meeting of the City Council of said City
on May 16, 1956, and was thereafter passed, adopted and
ordered to print at a regular meeting of said City Council
held June 6, 1956, by the following vote:
