WFLitERS pursuant to :he provisions of an Act of the Legis-
lature of %he St;:te of CaIiiornia, known as the llAnne:.:ation Act
of 1913,” a.nd pursuant to !iesolu.tinn No. 1778 adopted by the City
Council of t,he City of Lodi on the I+th day of November 1953, a
special election was held on the 15th day of December, 1953, in
that certain inhabited territ-.ory cor!tiguous to the City of Lodj
designated as “Sunset tldditi.on” and wbLich is hereinafter more
part i cularl y de s c rib e d ; arid
WlIEKEAS, at said special. election the following question was
’ submitted to the qualified electors residing in said territory:

SECTION 1. That the annexation 3f t,ha.t certain inhabited
territory contiguous to the City of Lodi designated as ‘!Sunset
Addition” be and tne same hereby is s.pproved. Said territory is

regular meeting of the City Council held December 16, 1953,
and was thereafter passed, adopted and ordered to print at an
