No- 454 - mailing being completed more than twenty days prior to the date of hearing set in Resolution Roo, 165.2, and, WrnEAS, on the 20th day of FebPuary 1952 at the hour of 8:OO olclook p.m, of said d in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Lodt California suant to resolution and notice aforesaid, the City Counoil of the city of Lodi did hold and conduct a public hearing for the hearing of protests or objection& annexation of said terrttosy to the City of Lodi, and ts beinq heard, considered and passed upon by said Cftg Council, and found to have been made by owners of less than one-half of the assessed value of the territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last qualifted assesment roll of San Joaquin County, Califomfa, now therefore : COTJNCXf, OF THE CITY OF LODl DOES ORDAIN AS POLLOISD + The annexation of the following described unfn- torg in San Joaquin County, contiguous to the City of Lodi, designated "42ND ADDITION, SOTJTH OF LODX BARNETART TRACT AND VEST OF CRSROHEE LANE" is heraby approved and the declared to be annexed to and made part of the City g on the present boundary line of the City at the intersection of the present1 line of Cherokee Lane (State Eip&y line ~f Kettleman Lane (Skate Highway 531, and mnning €hence Souther)ly on and along sald west lfne of, Cherokee Lane one thousand two hundred flve feet, more or less, to a point on the same distant three hundred (300) feet South of the south line of Lot Two (2) in A.S. Larsonts Subdivision of the FJortheast One Quarter or Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 6 East; thence Westerly, parallel to the south line of said Lot 2, two hundred f200) feet: thence N~~thwly, parallel to the west line of Chero- kee Lane, three hundred (300) feet to the south line of said Lot; 2: thence Resterly on and along said south line seven hundred forty-five (745) feet, mope or less, to the southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence Northerly on and along the west lines of Lots 1 and 2 of said A. J. Larsonfs Subdivision and heir northerly extension nine hundred five (905) feet, more or less, to the southerly boundary line of the C.l.ty of Lodi (which boundary line is also the north line of Kettleman Lane) ; thence Easterly on and dong said boundary line nine hundred forty- five (91~5) feet, more or less, tc its intersection the west line of Cherokee Lane and the point ginning, containfng 19.6 acres, nore or less. Section 2, This ordinance shall be published one time in The Lodi Times, a weekly newspaper of' general circulatlon printed and published in the City of Lodi and shall be in force and take effect thfrty days from and after its passage. Sectfon 3. Upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk shall immediately prepare under seal a certiried copy of the ordfnance, Riving the date of its passags, and transmit it to the Secretary of State.
